01 Scope and responsible organisation

These provisions concern the Skillvelop MATH Assessment Platform at ma.skillvelop.com and its connected Skillvelop MA mobile application. The platform supports parent-managed mathematics assessments for students in Grades 1 to 10.

Related Skillvelop websites are math.skillvelop.com, study-abroad.skillvelop.com and www.skillvelop.com. Their separate services, purchases and information practices are governed by the notices and agreements presented there. A link does not extend these assessment terms to every service on those domains.

02 Information we process

Parents provide their name, email address, telephone number and selected dialling country. A family account contains a password hash, account identifiers and consent records. Each child profile contains a name, grade, curriculum, country selection and any supplied curriculum description.

We record assessment responses, response timing, progress, self-reported learning reflections, sampled scores, generated recommendations and reports. Trial requests contain the selected child and report, preferred date, time, time zone and any voluntarily supplied context. Support messages and delivery records are also personal information.

Requests reveal an IP address and device or browser information to hosting infrastructure. Approximate country information may come from network headers or an IP lookup to preselect a telephone code. The selection can be changed. This is not a request for precise device GPS location. Do not submit medical records, identification documents or other sensitive information in assessment or trial fields.

03 Purposes and choices

We use this information to create and secure accounts, keep siblings’ records separate, save progress, evaluate sampled mathematics skills, prepare downloadable reports, support parents and coordinate trial requests. Contact and delivery information enables welcome, password-reset, assessment and class-related messages. Completion emails may include a free-trial invitation.

Required fields are identified in the forms. Without necessary account and assessment information, we cannot provide the corresponding features. You may decline an assessment or trial request. Consent may be withdrawn by contacting us; withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing and may prevent further assessment or AI-supported recommendations.

We do not sell family assessment records or use this platform to serve behavioural advertising to children. An educational profile must not be treated as a clinical profile. See the AI Assessment Policy for the limits of automated recommendations.

04 Recipients and AI processing

Authorised Skillvelop administrators receive registration and assessment-start information. Upon completion, the configured administrator receives assessment evidence and the generated PDF report through email. These operational messages can include parent contact details, child identity and answers; they are not anonymous.

Hosting and storage are provided through Vercel and Supabase. Email delivery uses Resend when configured. A configured OpenAI, Anthropic or DeepSeek service may receive the selected grade, curriculum, scored learning evidence and selected reflections for report narrative generation. The current prompt construction omits student names and parent contact details. This minimisation does not guarantee that all educational evidence is anonymous.

Google Tag Manager receives ordinary browser requests to load the container. The application sends only a non-identifying route event, without names, contact details, report content or assessment responses. Tags later published in the container may involve additional recipients and must be assessed before use. Country lookup may use ipapi.co and transmit an IP address. Web fonts loaded from Google can expose request information to Google. A tutor may receive relevant report information when arranging a requested trial, subject to necessary access and confidentiality. Disclosures may also be required by law, to protect safety or legal rights, or during a lawful business transfer with appropriate safeguards.

05 International processing and safeguards

Skillvelop is based in India. Cloud, email, AI and other providers may process information in India and other countries; selecting an Indian hosting region does not mean every recipient processes only in India. Provider locations and retention terms vary with the service and configuration. Contact us for information about the provider used for a particular report.

Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, a lawful transfer mechanism and any required assessment must be established before the relevant transfer. This notice does not certify that every provider contract or international transfer has been approved under every jurisdiction. The GDPR Privacy Notice explains additional rights where that law applies.

06 Retention, rights and contact

Records currently remain in the platform until removed through an authorised operational process. Account inactivity and signing out do not automatically delete child profiles, answers or reports. Read the Data Retention Policy for the current limitations, including administrator email copies and third-party records.

You may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent or information about recipients by contacting hello@skillvelop.com or the Grievance Officer. We will assess identity and parental authority proportionately, explain any lawful exception and respond within applicable legal deadlines. Information about one child will not be disclosed merely because the requester knows the child’s name.

We use access controls, password hashing and protected sessions, but no system is risk-free. Material changes will be dated and, where required, communicated with renewed consent before a materially different use. This notice does not reduce statutory privacy rights.
