Cookie & Device Storage Policy

Necessary sessions, device preferences and third-party requests.

Updated 5 October 2026Skillvelop Ventures Private Limited

01 Cookies used by this platform

The platform uses first-party session cookies rather than advertising cookies in its application code. The math_account cookie authenticates a family session and has a configured maximum age of 30 days. math_session associates guest or continuity activity and has a configured maximum age of 30 days. math_admin is restricted to the administrator sign-in flow and has a configured maximum age of 8 hours.

Server-side expiry, sign-out or revocation may end a session earlier. These cookies are configured as HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict; production HTTPS cookies also use Secure. Cookie lifetime is not the retention period for an account or report.

02 Local storage and the mobile application

The browser may store a marker that a particular report’s trial invitation has already been shown. This marker contains account and report identifiers and is used to avoid repeated prompts. It does not contain the PDF itself. It may remain until browser storage is cleared.

The hybrid mobile application uses its embedded browser’s session storage mechanisms. When sharing a report, it may create a temporary PDF in the application cache and attempt to remove it after sharing. A file you save or send through another app is governed by that destination and device settings.

03 External resources and optional technologies

Google Tag Manager is loaded to manage browser-side tags. Its loading can transmit ordinary browser request information to Google. The application does not embed Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity or other analytics libraries directly. Tags activated later inside the GTM container can set cookies or make additional requests; their purpose, recipients and consent requirements must be documented before activation.

Google-hosted web fonts, hosting infrastructure and external IP country lookup can also receive network request information. Their processing is described in the Privacy Policy. No student name, email, phone number, report content or assessment response is placed in the application dataLayer. Non-essential cookies or similar tracking must not be introduced where consent is required until a suitable choice mechanism is in place.

04 Your controls

You can block or clear cookies and site storage in browser or device settings. Blocking necessary session cookies can prevent sign-in and progress continuity. Signing out ends the account session but is not a deletion request. Clearing the invitation marker may cause a prompt to appear again. For questions, contact hello@skillvelop.com.
