01 Evidence and automated processing
The assessment engine selects grade-appropriate tasks and calculates indicators from recorded responses and reflections. Charts describe sampled evidence. A configured AI service may write an explanatory narrative from that evidence. If AI is unavailable or its output does not meet validation requirements, the platform can use an evidence-based template. Not every completed report therefore requires a successful external AI response.
02 Interpretation and human review
Interest and confidence responses are self-reports, and learning preferences can change. Foundational gaps, SWOT, improvement plans and tutor characteristics are educational interpretations of a limited sample. A student’s full ability, curriculum coverage and future performance cannot be established by this assessment.
Reports must not be used as the sole basis for school admission, exclusion, examination eligibility or any other consequential decision. You may ask Skillvelop to review an apparent error and discuss the underlying learning evidence with an educator. There is no automatic entitlement to a particular tutor or competition entry.
03 AI data and reliability
Report prompts currently omit parent contact details and student names, while including grade, curriculum, sampled performance and selected reflections. These records may still be personal data. Provider configurations, locations, retention and processing terms vary. The platform does not promise that a report is unique under copyright law or that an AI provider has zero retention.
Generated recommendations can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Technical validation is not clinical validation or a guarantee that a human educator has individually approved every report. Please report concerns rather than relying on an obviously inconsistent recommendation.
04 Educational disclaimer and next steps
This assessment is an educational tool for identifying math interest, learning style and skill gaps. It is not a psychological, clinical or medical assessment, does not diagnose anything, and does not guarantee any academic outcome.
Suggested activities and competitive-exam pathways require contextual judgement, and official rules should be checked with the organiser. The free 60-minute trial is an opportunity to explore a teaching approach through a live 1:1 online class. Skillvelop’s team confirms availability and the tutor match. It does not guarantee improvement, grades or exam results.
